Manchester United defenders Aaron Wan-Bissaka & Luke Shaw return to training ahead of Middlesbrough clash

Manchester United defenders Aaron-Wan-Bissaka and Luke Shaw have been pictured in training ahead of the club’s upcoming FA Cup clash with Middlesbrough.

The Red Devils face the Championship side on Friday night, and after a two-break without fixtures there’s some uncertainty as to which players are available for selection.

Defenders Aaron Wan-Bisska and Luke Shaw both missed the last two games prior to the international break, with the former suffering from illness while Shaw had a slight injury.

However, both seem to have fully recovered and were pictured in the club’s latest training gallery on their website.

Ralf Rangnick opted to play with Diogo Dalot and Alex Telles at full-back in the last two games, but the return of Wan-Bissaka and Shaw will be a welcome boost with United facing four games in 12 days.

Jadon Sancho and Paul Pogba were again pictured among the group, as they were earlier in the week. However, Victor Lindelof, who missed the club’s last game due to a family break-in, wasn’t included in the gallery.

Nor was midfielder Fred, although he posted on his Instagram account to confirm he was back at the club’s training base after returning from international duty with Brazil.

With Fred back, it’s presumed his national team-mate Telles has returned too, while Edinson Cavani was also in South American action over the break, when playing for Uruguay.
