The Red Devils will have been looking to kick-off their new era with a bang in the market, but they have been rather quiet to say the least.

Hide AdErik ten Hag arrived at Old Trafford early to begin work on his new squad, but United are yet to see the benefit -although transfers are not just the Dutchman’s responsibility.
But the old fable suggests it’s the tortoise who wins the race in the end, and United will be hoping that rings true as they look to begin their summer business.
In that vein, we have rounded up all the latest United transfer news and rumours.
Rabiot race
United have been linked with a move for Juventus star Adrien Rabiot, but they could face a problem.

Hide AdJuve could make the midfielder available this summer, with the 27-year-old’s contract set to expire in a year’s time.
According to Calciomercatoweb, though, Arsenal are planning to hijack United’s bid to land Rabiot, hoping they hold the advantage by offering up a partial swap deal involving Hector Bellerin.
Evanilson update
United’s reported interest in Porto star Evanilson this summer has been denied.
Fabrizio Romano has tweeted: “Manchester United have not submitted any bid to FC Porto for Brazilian striker Evanilson, despite rumours of €70m proposal turned down.
“He’s not in Man United list as of today.

De Jong hiccup
One link that will not go away concerns Barcelona star Frenkie de Jong.
Reports suggests negotiations have been going on between the two clubs for much of this summer, but talks could be halted.
According to the Metro, United could now walk away from talks after Barcelona demanded more than £73million for the midfielder’s transfer.
The Red Devils are not prepared to pay quite to much to complete deal.
