Man Utd are still looking to improve their squad in the final two weeks of the summer transfer window.

Manchester United are considering two more signings in the summer transfer window after they signed both Matthijs de Ligt and Noussair Mazraoui from Bayern Munich.

United have now made four major signings before the start of the new Premier League season, with Leny Yoro and Joshua Zirkzee both also added to the squad.

Erik ten Hag's side will prioritise the addition of a midfielder in the final fortnight of the window, while they are also keeping tabs on left-back targets as well. Another attacker has also been considered, but it is deemed unlikely, given they would probably have to sell Jadon Sancho to finance a deal. The English forward has been linked with an initial loan move to Paris Saint-Germain, which might not free up enough funds to sign a direct replacement.

A move for top midfield target Manuel Ugarte appears to be back on the cards, with PSG eager to sell him before transfer deadline day. In order for a deal to be achieved, the French champions will either have to lower their demands or accept an initial loan exit, though there is growing belief an agreement could be reached. It is understood Sancho could be used as part of a deal to bring Ugarte to Old Trafford.

United are also keeping tabs on Burnley ace Sander Berge as a cheaper alternative and hold an interest in Real Sociedad star Martin Zubimendi, who has already rejected a move to Liverpool.

United will also consider signing a left-back following Luke Shaw's latest injury setback. Although both Mazraoui and Diogo Dalot are viewed as makeshift options on the left side of defence, Ten Hag would rather have another specialist option to call upon while Shaw and Tyrell Malacia are both side lined, with Harry Amass not currently viewed as ready for the first-team frame.

As it might only require a short-term fix, United will consider free agent and loan deals at full-back and could even look to replicate a move similar to their loan deal for Sergio Reguilon a year ago. Former Chelsea and Barcelona star Marcos Alonso is one option open to the club.
