With Paul Pogba and Jesse Lingard both out of contract at the end of the season, Manchester United look set to begin a hunt for a new midfielder and have a number of names in mind.
According to Fichajes, one star that they are targeting is Paris Saint-Germain’s Marco Verratti, with the report claiming the Italian could be on the move this summer.

Hide AdVerratti has made over 250 appearances for PSG - winning seven Ligue 1 titles and 20 domestic cups, while also helping Italy to Euro 2020 glory.
The 29-year-old is highly regarded as one of the best midfielders in the world and could be seen as the perfect replacement for Pogba when he inevitably leaves on a free transfer.
However, United will face tough competition in luring Verratti to the Premier League, with Roma and Inter Milan reportedly eager to bring him back to his home country.
Verratti left Italy for Paris in 2012 but could be tempted to join one of the Serie A giants in favour or returning to his family and friends.

He has struggled with injury problems in the current campaign, however has still made 25 appearances in all competitions and featured in both legs of PSG’s disappointing Champions League defeat to Real Madrid.
Despite PSG’s recent failures in the competition, Verratti will no doubt want to sign for a club that can offer him European football and so a move to Old Trafford could depend on whether they can claim a top four spot come the end of the season.
The Red Devils currently sit sixth in England’s top flight - four points below Arsenal, who also have a game in hand over them.
