Manchester United confirmed squad members vs Lyon as four academy stars involved
Man Utd have confirmed their matchday squad to face Lyon in the Europa League on Thursday night.
Manchester United have included four academy stars in their matchday squad to face Lyon on Thursday night. United host the French side at Old Trafford in the second leg of their Europa League quarter-final tie, with the scores level from the first leg a week ago.
There are certain to be at least two changes from the team that was beaten 4-1 by Newcastle at the weekend, with Andre Onana set start instead of Altay Bayindir and Joshua Zirkzee ruled out due to a hamstring injury.
United could make as many as five changes from their last line up and name the same side that drew 2-2 in France a week ago. There could also be some fresh faces on the bench for the match, with four academy hopefuls named in the provisional squad.

Manchester United youngsters Harry Amass, Jaydan Kamason, Godwill Kukonki and Jack Moorhouse have all been pictured at Old Trafford before the match on Thursday night. It seems unlikely any of the teenage trio will be named in the line up for the clash, but some of them have a chance of being named on the bench due to the lack of senior players.
Ruben Amorim will be without seven injured players for the clash, while teenage striker Chido Obi is ineligible to play in the Europa League this season. It leaves Rasmus Hojlund the only available senior striker for the match, with Joshua Zirkzee set to miss the remainder of the campaign.
