Manchester United player ratings vs Arsenal: 'X-factor' ace gets 7/10 but 'inexcusable' 4 - gallery

How the Man Utd players rated against Arsenal in the Premier League on Sunday afternoon.

Arsenal inflicted more misery on Manchester United as they won 1-0 at Old Trafford to keep the Premier League title race alive heading into the final week of the season.

Leandro Trossard opened the scoring for Mikel Arteta's side midway through the first-half but overall it was a spirited performance against one of the best teams in the English top-flight.

United had started the game well but all their hard work was undone when awful positioning from Casemiro played Kai Havertz onside and allowed him to set-up Trossard for a simple openig goal.

It was a rather even encounter after the goal, with both sides enjoying decent spells of possession without creating many notable chances in the process.

Erik ten Hag's side were the better team for much of the second-half but for all of their possession, they failed to ever real test David Raya in the Arsenal goal. Alejandro Garnacho had two of the best chances as he sent an effort wide of goal from the edge of the box and another into the side-netting after a brilliant run from Scott McTominay.

This is how we rated the United players in the narrow home defeat...
