United dominated in the city for years under Sir Alex Ferguson, but the last 10 years have seen a City resurgence. The latest chapter of the Manchester derby takes place at the Etihad Stadium this Sunday (4.30pm kick off).
Ahead of the big fixture, Gambling.com have placed a total of 19 billboards around Manchester with a live vote count to decide once and for all if the city is blue or red. Located in some of the most prominent spots in Manchester such as Piccadilly Station and Trafford Towers, fans can simply scan the QR code and place their vote for free whether they’re team blue or team red, and the score on the billboard will update in real time.

At the time of writing, City was ahead of United by over 100,000 votes. This is a big change to the start of the poll, which had United way out in front with an early lead.
The vote will remain open until kick off on matchday. United’s new boss Ruben Amorim will be keen to capitalise on City’s recent poor form, with Pep Guardiola’s side on a run that has seen them lose seven of the last 10 matches.
