Galatasaray and Fenerbahce have both been credited with an interest in Man Utd outcast Donny van de Beek - and he could seal a move this week.

The Turkish Super Lig transfer window closes on Friday which means he could exit the club this week. An injury sustained in January cut Van de Beek’s 2022/23 campaign short and the midfielder made just 10 appearances last term, with only four coming as starts.

Reflecting on his return to action in pre-season, he said: "It was great, my first game after six months. I don’t have to tell you that the injury is such a mental difficult period,” the ex-Ajax man told MUTV in the summer. “A difficult period for me and my family. To be back on the pitch, that was great."

He has since been left out of the club's Champions League squad and is expected to move on, either this week or when the January transfer window opens.
