Manchester United are likely to add to their squad again during the January transfer window despite strengthening heavily during the summer. Erik ten Hag was handed a significant chunk of money during the summer, with Mason Mount, Rasmus Hojlund and others arriving.
The new signings haven;t helped United avoid a disappointing start to the season, but with a new partial owner in Jim Ratcliffe on his way in, it's likely the Red Devils will strengthen again in the winter with a couple of incomings. With that in mind, we have put together a possible United starting Xi after the January transfer window based on rumours.
1. GK - Andre Onana
While Onana will miss time for AFCON, he will be the general starter.
2. RB - Aaron Wan-Bissaka
Wan-Bissaka will battle Dalot for a starting spot on the right.
3. CB - Lisandro Martinez
United have missed Martinez, and he will be an almost certain starter when he returns from his knee issue in January.
4. CB - Jean-Clair Todibo
Nice star Jean-Clair Todibo has been linked with a move to Old Trafford. United need more depth, and they need to plan to replace Raphael Varane, who could miss out based on recent form and fitness.
