Man Utd's 12 'dispensable players' named as Sir Jim Ratcliffe plots Old Trafford FFP workaround
Manchester United are preparing themselves for what could be something of a summer fire sale as Sir Jim Ratcliffe looks to make his mark at Old Trafford. This will be the club's first transfer window since INEOS' takeover and the club need to sell players to make the required changes due to FFP restrictions, according to ESPN.

Firstly, it is thought that both Raphael Varane and Anthony Martial are set for release this summer.
The pair reportedly collect a combined total of £450,000 a week in wages and given neither man has a future at Old Trafford, they will be allowed to leave the club in pursuit of pastures new.
United are open to offers on a host of other first-team stars, it seems, with Casemiro and Christian Eriksen said to be attracting interest from Saudi Arabia and Turkey respectively.

Hide AdJadon Sancho, Mason Greenwood and Donny van de Beek have all been out on loan this season and will be allowed to leave should the right offer be made and the same is said for Victor Lindelof, Aaron Wan-Bissaka, Scott McTominay and Harry Maguire, with the club open to offers. Marcus Rashford's future is also up in the air, but it remains to be seen whether he will leave the club this summer, despite being linked away.
Of course, it seems highly unlikely that United will part ways with all the players mentioned above, but it's clear that the first-team squad needs freshening up this summer and the more pruning United do, the more room they will have to spend.
