He has been with his current club since joining them in July last year from Fenerbahce and helped them rise to the top of Serie A this term. The South Korea international was at the World Cup earlier this winter.

Midfielder latest

United are ‘likely’ to be in the hunt for a new central midfielder in the next transfer window amid links to Jude Bellingham from Borussia Dortmund, as detailed in a report by The Athletic. The 19-year-old is expected to be a man in-demand after an impressive past couple of years playing in the Bundesliga.

The likes of Real Madrid, Liverpool and Manchester City have also been mentioned as potential destinations for the highly-rated England international. He burst into the Birmingham City first-team at the age of just 16 before he was lured over to Germany.
