Livakovic blow
United have been linked with a move for Croatia World Cup star Dominik Livakovic, but it seems they are behind in the race.
Livakovic has been mooted as a replacement for David De Gea, be it this year or next, but competition is rife. According to Marca, Villarreal have already started talks with Dinamo Zagreb over the signing of the goalkeeper, hoping to agree a deal worth less than the 10 million euro release clause.
There is also said to be interest from Turkey in the World Cup’s standout keeper, while the report says ‘an English club’ have also made enquiries.

Hide AdUnited are also said to be interested in a move for FC Porto star Diogo Costa, who is set to move on this summer.
According to A Bola via SportsWitness, Costa has already said his goodbyes to Porto ahead of a summer move, and United are said to be willing to pay the goalkeeper’s mammoth 75 million euro release clause. It would be a bold move from the Red Devils to spend so much on a goalkeeper, and especially if they also hand David De Gea a new contract as well.
There has been plenty of interest in Costa, and he is likely to be one of the priciest goalkeepers on the move this summer.
