Next up for them is a home clash against Arsenal this weekend.

Here is a look at the latest news regarding the club...

Ronaldo agreed move?

Cristiano Ronaldo remains at Old Trafford despite a summer of speculation.

The 37-year-old was linked with a departure throughout the transfer window but has stayed put beyond the transfer deadline.

However, according to a report by Turkish news outlet Ajansspor, he ‘agreed’ a deal in principle to join Super Lig giants Fenerbahce but a switch to Turkey failed to materialise in the end.

Manager delighted to land youngster

Hibernian boss Lee Johnson has expressed his delight after sealing a deadline day loan move for United defender Will Fish.

The centre-back, who spent time with Stockport County in the National League last term, has made the temporary switch up to Edinburgh on a deal until the end of this season to get some more experience under his belt.

His new manager has told their official club website:

“Will comes to us with an excellent pedigree captaining Manchester United’s Under-23s and playing for England.

“He’s a dominant centre-back who is comfortable with the ball at his feet and adds extra depth to our defence.

“We welcome him to the Club with open arms and look forward to working with him.”

Former player seals move

Dan James is on the move again and has joined Fulham on loan until next summer.

The winger left Old Trafford in January 2021 to join fellow top flight side Leeds United.

He was snapped up by United in 2019 from Swansea City and went on to play 74 times before heading out the exit door.
