Ralf Rangnick has given a worrying update on the fitness of Manchester United forward Edinson Cavani.
The 35-year-old was taken off in Uruguay’s 2-0 win over Chile on Wednesday with a calf problem, which will rule him out of Saturday’s Premier League encounter with Leicester City.

Asked about the squad’s shape heading into the Leicester clash, Rangnick told MUTV: "Yeah, they all seem to be fit. The only player who is injured, unfortunately again, is Edinson Cavani.
“In his second game [with Uruaguay], he had to be substituted after 25 minutes with some calf problems.
"According to the doctor, he will be out for a couple of weeks, four weeks, maybe even five weeks. So we have to wait and see.

Without Cavani, Rangnick is likely to start Cristiano Ronaldo up front. The striker scored a hat-trick in his last Premier League outing, when United beat Tottenham Hotspur 3-2 at Old Trafford.
Cavani was one of three United players who featured in the South American World Cup qualifiers over the recent international break, along with the Brazilian duo of Fred and Alex Telles.
Often, the exhaustion of such a journey can see players returning from South America rested for their first game after an international break, although Rangnick said that will not necessarily be the case for Fred and Telles.
"They flew back directly after the game,” said the 63-year-old. “By today [Friday], they should have overcome any jet-lag problems and are available."
