Man Utd transfers: 15 first-team players who could leave permanently this summer - gallery

Erik ten Hag has already identified a number of players he is willing to let go at the end of the season.

As the 2022/23 Premier League campaign wraps up this weekend, Manchester United are already making transfer plans ahead of next season.

It’s been a strong campaign from the Red Devils, who have secured a top-four finish, collected one trophy and could be in line for another if they can beat Manchester City in the FA Cup final next week.

However, Erik ten Hag said after the 4-1 win over Chelsea that the squad needs additions this summer if they are to challenge for the top four. A striker is seen as the priority and Harry Kane and Victor Osimhen have been identified as the key targets. Elsewhere, at least one midfielder, a centre-back, right-back and potentially another winger could be areas where United look to recruit.

But, as with all clubs, United’s incomings will be influenced by who departs, and Ten Hag is willing to let a number of senior players leave in the window. While the Dutchman is pleased with the team’s development this season, too many players remain from the Ole Gunnar Solskjaer era, and the side’s habit of capitulating when they go behind has infuriated Ten Hag.

ManchesterWorld understands that up to 15 players from the current first-team set-up may be allowed to leave permanently in the summer, in addition to youth players, and youngsters developing on loan. Given the need for squad depth, not all 15 will move on, but wholesale  departures are expected before the end of the transfer window.

Below is a list of every senior player who Ten Hag is willing to sell or release in the summer market…
