Manchester United are considering a number of moves for members of their under-21 side, ahead of Friday’s transfer deadline.

The window shuts at 11pm and, while the futures of Sofyan Amrabat, Marc Cucurella and Dean Henderson will dominate the agenda at Old Trafford, there’s plenty more happening at the club.

ManchesterWorld understands the Red Devils are considering whether to let Shola Shoretire leave on a temporary basis. The winger, who remains the youngest player to represent United in Europe, has attracted interest from several clubs in England. The Red Devils are willing to let him leave on loan, if the right club can be found.

Meanwhile, Marc Jurado could also be allowed to leave this week. Real Betis are interested in signing the right-back, with little expectation at United that Jurado can push Aaron Wan-Bissaka or Diogo Dalot for a spot in the senior set-up. Jurado is seen as United’s first-choice in that position in the under-21 side, but was omitted from the the team that beat Stoke City 10-1 at the weekend.

Charlie McNeill also wasn’t involved in that empathic win and is set to join Stevenage on loan, Manchester World understands. The attacker has been the subject of interest from top-flight clubs in England, Germany and Italy, but has opted for a loan move to League One, which provides a greater chance of regular first-team football. McNeill is expected to complete his move in the coming days, pending the completion of a medical.

While Shoretire, Jurado and McNeill could be set to leave United, Hannibal is expected to stay. The midfielder has been training with Erik ten Hag’s first-team squad this summer and is seen as a player who could be ready to play an active role in the senior set-up. Mason Mount’s injury has also meant Ten Hag is wary of letting Hannibal leave, while it’s unclear if the Red Devils will be able to strengthen their midfield options before 11pm on Friday.

It’s also been widely reported that Teden Mengi is close to joining Luton Town, and will link up with former United team-mate Tahith Chong.
