Forget Vitkor Gyokeres & Ollie Watkins - Man Utd told striker 'who can finish so well' is theirs for £35m
One of Manchester United’s priorities this summer is to sign a new striker as Ruben Amorim looks to address a severe lack of goals within his side.
Of the 17 teams who stayed up in the Premier League last term, only Everton scored fewer goals than the Red Devils. The Red Devils have been linked with Viktor Gyokeres, who played under Amorim for Sporting CP. However, the latest indications are that Arsenal are ahead in the race for the striker.

The Red Devils are hoping to add more goals and are reportedly close to an agreement for Bryan Mbeumo, as they hope a third bid will be accepted by Brentford when they get ready to lodge it.
After that agreement is sealed, a move for a striker is expected to ramp up.
Man Utd quoted £35m to sign Christopher Nkunku from Chelsea
According to a report from The Mirror, United have Chelsea striker Christopher Nkunku on their list of transfer targets this summer and have been told a deal will cost £35m. The Blues signed him for £52m two years ago and are ready to accept a £17m loss to get him off the books.
Chelsea have signed Joao Pedro and United target Liam Delap for around £90m and Nkunku is now deemed surplus to requirements at Stamford Bridge. He is a centre forward but can play out on the left and slightly further back so could offer some versatility to Amorim.

He did scored 70 goals and provide 56 assists in 172 games for RB Leipzig and a change of environment with more regular game-time could be what he needs to get back to that form.
Man Utd target Christopher Nkunku hailed for his finishing
“I have rarely seen someone finish so well in front of goal,” said France and Chelsea man Wesley Fofana of Nkunku back in October.
Speaking about a possible exit for the player, Chelsea boss Enzo Maresca said while at the Club World Cup: “If Christo [Nkunku] is here with us, it is because we think he can help us and he can be with us even next season. But as you said, there are many speculations, not just about Christo, about many players.
“And then if something is going to happen, I don't know because we said many times when the transfer window is open, anything can happen in terms of players that can arrive or players that can leave.”
