Manchester United will look to return to winning ways in the Premier League on Saturday when they host Crystal Palace at Old Trafford. The Red Devils have taken just one point from their last two league outings - including a 1-1 draw with the Eagles in mid-January.

Before this afternoon’s clash, however, there is still plenty of transfer speculation to work through. Check out roundup of the latest United-related rumours below...

Manchester United will look to bring in a ‘marquee name’ at the top end of the pitch in the summer transfer window, according to CBS reporter Ben Jacobs. The Red Devils have been linked with a number of high profiles options in recent times, and moved to bring in Dutch international Wout Weghorst in January.

According to ESPN, United have drawn up a three-man shortlist of preferable targets, with England captain Harry Kane, Napoli’s Victor Osimhen, and young Slovenian Benjamin Sesko all high on their agenda. Of that trio, Sesko has already agreed a £20 million move to RB Leipzig at the end of the current campaign.

Nonetheless, Jacobs is convinced that Erik ten Hag’s men will swoop for a new centre-forward sooner rather than later. Speaking to GiveMeSport, he said: “Manchester United will absolutely want a striker. And even if Wout Weghorst succeeds, and they come back to Burnley and try and agree something for that, I sense that it’s unlikely that they still wouldn’t strengthen in that area and look for some kind of marquee name.”

Ten Hag eyes Booth

Manchester United are keeping tabs on American midfielder Taylor Booth, with Erik ten Hag reportedly a big admirer of the promising talent. According to the Daily Mail, the 21-year-old has alerted a number of top European clubs, with the Red Devils chief among his potential suitors.

Booth currently plies his trade for Dutch outfit FC Utrecht, having previously been part of Bayern Munich’s youth setup. His current deal in the Netherlands is set to expire in 2025.
