Andre Onana is back in contention to return in goal for Manchester United when they travel to face Wolves on deadline day.

Onana is back in the North West after his time at the Africa Cup of Nations with Cameroon and boss Erik Ten Hag has confirmed he is available. One player who won't be involved, however, is Mason Mount as he continues his comeback from injury.

"Mason Mount, it is too soon, yeah," confirmed Ten Hag. "But Andre Onana will return."

The United boss added: "We know that, at our best, we can beat anyone and everyone in the squad is very convinced about this. Also, they know that, with players coming back and returning from injury, from long-term injuries, the team will be stronger. Also that helps the motivation and it helps the mood and the spirit in the team."

Meanwhile, Ten Hag spoke of the importance of his players showing discipline on and off the pitch following the Marcus Rashford saga this week. Rashford is available to return to the squad.

“So, he has taken responsibility and for the rest it’s an internal matter – case closed," said the United boss. When asked about respect players had for him, he added: “It’s nothing to do with that. But, as I said, let’s focus on the game, let’s move on. I think the statement is clear and we have to focus on winning football games.”
