The Ivory Coast international’s form in Amsterdam this season has led to Ten Hag wanting to bring the striker to Old Trafford with him, as per the Sun.
The newspaper claim Ten Hag wants Haller as his first signing at United, but face competition from Borussia Dortmund for the 27-year-old.
Haller has scored an impressive 33 goals in 39 appearances in all competitions for Ajax so far this campaign.

Hide AdUnited would see Haller as a cheaper alternative to Harry Kane, and could use Ten Hag’s arrival as an incentive to lure the Ivorian to Manchester.
Ten Hag and Haller are on course to win the Eredivisie title this season, with the Amsterdam side first in the Dutch top flight, four points clear of second-place PSV, with four games remaining.
With what is expected to be a busy summer transfer window for the Red Devils, if reports of Hallers move to Old Trafford are true, he could be just one of many players helping mould their new squad.
