According to ESPN, United will target players in the final year of their contracts under Jim Ratcliffe's guide, and Kimmich is one of the players on their wish list. Kimmich would be a pricey signing, without doubt, but Bayern would need to discount a little due to the contract situation, providing they don't fix it in the meantime.

United great Gary Neville has been speaking about Marcus Rashford amid struggles for the forward this season. Neville said on the Stick to Football podcast: "We were talking about Marcus Rashford last week, about having that right group of people around him.

“You can’t do the things that your friends are doing, so if you’re influenced by your friends, there is that element of, ‘Oh go on then,’ and that ‘Go on then’ would have done me.
