Kimmich links

United are being linked with a move for Bayern Munich superstar Joshua Kimmich. The midfielder is one of the best in the world in his position, but he is headed into the final year of his contract next season, providing he doesn't pen a new one.

According to ESPN, United will target players in the final year of their contracts under Jim Ratcliffe's guide, and Kimmich is one of the players on their wish list. Kimmich would be a pricey signing, without doubt, but Bayern would need to discount a little due to the contract situation, providing they don't fix it in the meantime.

Neville's Rashford message

United great Gary Neville has been speaking about Marcus Rashford amid struggles for the forward this season. Neville said on the Stick to Football podcast: "We were talking about Marcus Rashford last week, about having that right group of people around him.

“You can’t do the things that your friends are doing, so if you’re influenced by your friends, there is that element of, ‘Oh go on then,’ and that ‘Go on then’ would have done me. I never went out in the first five or six years of my career at United, I don’t think I could have done. To me, it was work ethic and love for the club. I listened, trained, and wanted to do well. These are the things that are the biggest factor [in becoming a professional footballer].”
