United are reportedly taking a look at Doncaster Rovers defender Bobby Faulkner on trial. The 18-year-old is currently training with the development side after catching the eye in League Two, as reported by the Doncaster Free Press. He has made 10 league appearances in all competitions so far this season and is being tipped for a bright future in the game.

Full-back attracting interest

Diogo Dalot is apparently attracting interest from European giants AC Milan and Barcelona. He has been on the books at Old Trafford since 2018 after he joined from Porto for fee of around £19m. According to a report by The Sun, Erik ten Hag’s side are ‘ready’ to trigger a contract extension for him to fend off other clubs.

Former player wins first game

Former United midfielder Michael Carrick has won his first game in charge of Middlesbrough. The Championship side turned to him as their replacement for Chris Wilder and he lost his opening match away at Preston North End. However, he has got his first three points under his belt now following a 3-1 away win against Hull City on Tuesday night.
