Onana injury

United have been dealt a potential injury blow during the break, with goalkeeper Andre Onana picking up an issue during his latest outing with Cameroon. Onana limped off after trying to make a save, although the shot did go wide.

It's claimed Onana has suffered an adductor issue, although the extent of the injury has not been confirmed. United will be hoping not to lose Onana this side of Christmas, given he is set to leave for up to a month for the African Cup of Nations early in the new year.

Griezmann 'interest'

United are being linked with a shock move for Atletico Madrid star Antoine Griezmann. According to Nacional, Griezmann has a release clause in his contract worth just £22million, and the Red Devils are said to be interested.

The France international has been a sensation since returning to the Civitas Metropolitano from Barcelona. Though, if United were to seek a deal, they would need to pay his huge wages, with claims the Red Devils would be willing to agree a £345,500-per-week deal. Then again, it's likely incoming partial owner Jim Ratcliffe would have a say on that, given he is likely to move away from some of the overspending methods United have used in the transfer market over recent years.
