United have already had a busy window of incomings but a few first team players could still exit the club with Fulham reportedly chasing one and another being tipped for a high profile move to Saudi Arabia. Here are the latest Manchester United transfer news stories on Saturday, August 19:

Saudi club ‘line up’ move for Man Utd defender

Per a report from The Express, Manchester United defender Raphael Varane is being lined up as one of Saudi Arabia’s next high-profile signings this summer. It is claimed that Al Ittihad want the 30-year old to join up with international teammates Karim Benzema and N’Golo Kante.

The club have reportedly been in contact with the defender’s representatives while it is also believed that Erik ten Hag will be eager to keep a hold of the player. There are also reports that Varane has initially rejected Al Ittihad due to his desire to compete in European football for at least one more season.

Fulham ‘in talks’ to sign ‘forgotten’ Man Utd defender

According to the Daily Mail, Manchester United defender Eric Bailly is in talks to join Fulham. The report describes the 29-year old as ‘the forgotten man of Old Trafford’ and says that he has been seeking a move away from the club for some time.
