Manchester United are now turning their attention back to the Premier League after another disappointing Champions League night, this time in Denmark. They also have plenty of work to do in the Premier League if they want to secure qualification for next season's European competitions, and they face Luton Town this weekend. In the meantime, we have rounded up all the latest news and rumours surrounding Old Trafford.

Garnacho called out

Copenhagen defender Denis Vavro has hit out at United star Alejandro Garnacho after the winger allegedly tried to rough up the penalty spot before the home side's penalty - which was scored - was taken on Wednesday.

Vavro told Bold.dk: “I saw that he tried to do something about the penalty kick, but Kevin Diks stood in front and blocked. It is the second time. And then on our track? To me he is a clown.

“He has the mentality of a child when he tries something like this again. In an away game. One thing is at home in the 97th minute, but here in the first half. I don’t understand him trying to do that.”

Injury blows

United boss Ten Hag has confirmed that long-term absentee Lisandro Martinez and midfielder Casemiro will remain out until after Christmas. He said: "I don’t expect Lisandro Martínez and Casemiro to be available again before Christmas.”

The Martinez confirmation won't come as any sort of surprise for United fans, given the nature of his knee injury, but Casemiro's extended absence will be felt sorely at a time when the Red Devils appear to lack leadership, something Paul Scholes highlighted after Wednesday night's defeat.
