Marcus Rashford has come away unharmed after a car crash outside Manchester United’s Carrington training base.

The England forward is said to have been heading home in his Rolls Royce on Saturday evening after the 1-0 win at Burnley.  United’s players had travelled by team coach to Carrington from Turf Moor before picking up their own cars to head home.

Pictures and video on social media show the scene of the crash - with it reported that Rashford’s £700,000 car collided with another vehicle driven by a member of the public. Both were unharmed however and no ambulance was needed.

United captain Bruno Fernandes is believed to have been among the first on the scene late on Saturday night.

Addressing reports about the crash, Rashford said on Instagram: "3 points on the road! I’m alright guys thanks for the messages."

He had played the full 90 minutes as Erik ten Hag's side picked up a much-needed win at Turf Moor, Fernandes scoring a stunning goal to seal all three points.
