United are in the hunt for some defensive reinforcements this summer ahead of next season. According to a report by TEAMtalk, they are showing ‘serious interest’ in OGC Nice after being put off by key target Jarrad Branthwaite’s ‘huge’ price tag at Everton.

Todibo, 24, could be seen as a cheaper alternative and he has caught the eye playing in Ligue 1 since joining his current club back in 2021. Prior to his switch to the south of France, he had spells at Toulouse and Barcelona and his future is up in the air right now amid attention from other clubs elsewhere.

Wing-back on radar

United are said to be keen on Torino wing-back Raoul Bellanova along with fellow top flight outfit Aston Villa ahead of the next transfer window. According to a report by Italian news outlet CalcioMercato, the pair are keeping tabs on the player’s progress in Serie A as they weigh up potential swoops.

The chances of him moving to Old Trafford may well depend on what happens with Aaron Wan-Bissaka. Bellanova, who is 23-years-old, only joined Torino last year after spending time on loan at Inter Milan last term from Cagliari and he has instantly become a key player at the Stadio Olimpico Grande Torino.
