United consider new deal for De Gea
Manchester United will sit down with David de Gea ‘in the coming months’ to discuss a new contract, according to transfer guru Fabrizio Romano.
The Spanish goalkeeper has been one of United’s few consistent performers this season, and has drawn praise from interim manager Ralf Rangnick while others around him have floundered.
De Gea is out of contract in Manchester next summer, but as a result of his impressive performances of late, it is understood that United are keen to hold talks over an agreement that would keep him at the club for a while longer.
