Manchester United are back in European action on Thursday night as they head to Catalonia to take on La Liga leaders Barcelona.

The Red Devils have been in fine form of late, but a Barca side on a run of 11 straight wins across all competitions awaits them, and it’s going to be one of the biggest tests Erik ten Hag’s men have faced this season. Attention will then turn back to the Premier League and a clash with Leicester City before the return leg at Old trafford.

In the meantime, we have rounded up all the latest news and rumours surrounding the Red Devils.

Osimhen bid

United are said to be preparing a deal to sign Napoli superstar Victor Osimhen.

The Red Devils need a striker this summer, but they face plenty of competition in the race to land Osimhen, with Liverpool and others being linked. According to Calciomercato, United are already readying a big bid for the striker as they look to get ahead of the competition this summer.

It’s claimed the Red Devils are willing to pay Napoli as much as £108million this summer, and it’s likely any club wanting to sign the striker will have to pay more than £100million.

United are said to be interested in Independiente Del Valle youngster Kendry Paez.

Transfer expert Fabrizio Romano said on his YouTube channel: “Kendry Paez. Born in 2007. Talented midfielder. Chelsea want him and Chelsea are absolutely in contact to sign Kendry Paez.

“Also Man United, Man City are exploring the conditions of the deal. He’s playing for Independiente Del Valle. But also we have to include Bayer Leverkusen in the list of clubs interested in Kendry Paez. Super, young talent. So it will take some time to see him in Europe performing but all these clubs are monitoring Kendry Paez as a top talent for present and future.”
