Manchester United could have several first-team options available once again this weekend when the Red Devils take on Rangers in Edinburgh.
It will be the second pre-season friendly of the summer for Erik ten Hag’s side, who lost 1-0 away to Rosenborg on Monday. A depleted squad travelled to Norway for the match, with the team in the second half made up exclusively of underage players.

According to the club’s official website, Andre Onana, Harry Maguire, Scott McTominay, Amad and Jadon Sancho could all return on Saturday.
On McTominay, who returned to training on Wednesday, United said: “The midfielder did his pre-season testing at our base, before heading straight out onto the pitch to maintain his fitness.”
Maguire is still recovering from the injury that ruled him out of this summer’s Euros but has been pictured back at Carrington this week. The club say he is now ‘back in full training’.

Victor Lindelof and Antony were in the same boat, but interestingly were not referenced in the article on United’s website as possible returnees against Rangers this weekend.
After the Rangers fixture, United will travel to the US where they will face Arsenal, Real Betis and Liverpool. The first competitive game of the season comes on 10 August when the Red Devils take on Manchester City at Wembley in the Community Shield.
