Manchester United have until the end of the month to further bolster their ranks. The Red Devils have delved into the market to bring in goalkeeper Jack Butland and striker Wout Weghorst on loan so far.
They also have the chance to offload some players before the window slams shut. Here is a look at some of the latest news and rumours coming out of the club...
Valencia are pushing to sign United winger Facundo Pellistri on loan, according to reporter Fabrizio Romano on Twitter. The Spanish side are keen to lure the Uruguay international to La Liga on a deal until the end of the season to boost their attacking options. Brazilian outfit Flamengo are said to have dropped out of the race, but two Italian clubs remain in the frame.
Youngsters made available
The Red Devils are reportedly looking to offload defender Bjorn Hardley, midfielder Charlie Savage and forward Charlie McNeill on loan, as per The Sun. The trio could head out the exit door to get some more first-team experience. Only the latter has made a senior appearance in this campaign.
United have been ‘offered’ the chance to land Juventus striker Dusan Vlahovic, according to a report by 90min. The 23-year-old has scored seven goals in 15 appearances in all competitions so far this term. However, other clubs such as Chelsea, Arsenal, Paris Saint-Germain and Bayern Munich have apparently been made ‘aware’ of his availability so there is competition for his signature.
