The latest Manchester United transfer news and rumours as the Red Devils take a break from action

Manchester United have had a difficult start to the Premier League season as they entered the international break on the back of a 3-0 loss to rivals Liverpool at Old Trafford.

The Red Devils kicked the 2024-25 campaign off with a win as summer signing Joshua Zirkzee netted a late winner in a 1-0 victory against Fulham. But defeats to Brighton and Hove Albion and Liverpool have followed with Ten Hag already under pressure despite signing a new deal over the summer.

However, the United boss is not the only man who has come in for criticism this season - and over the last 12 months - with a number of the squad facing questions over their performances. One man who has been in the spotlight for the wrong reasons is defensive midfielder Casemiro. The former Real Madrid man was guilty of conceding possession a number of times against Liverpool, with Arne Slot's side scoring twice off the back of errors from the Brazilian.

According to The Times, Galatasaray are prepared to offer Casemiro a way out of Old Trafford as they are interested in a loan move for the midfielder. United would still need to cover part of the player's salary in order for the move to be feasible, however. iSport reports that United are open to offers for the midfielder who still has two years remaining on his contract, with the option to extend for a further year. He joined the club in a deal worth up to £70m two years ago.

Turkish journalist Ali Naci Küçük has gone as far to report that the clubs are already in talks over a one-year loan deal. The Turkish transfer window is open until next week, meaning Premier League clubs can still complete outgoing business with teams from the country.

Another United player who has struggled to live up to his transfer fee his forward Antony, who joined for £86m from Ajax two years ago. Reports from Turkish outlet Fotomac claim Fenerbahce, managed by Jose Mourinho, want to sign the Brazilian on loan with the report adding that a move could be finalised soon. The 24-year-old has made just one appearance for United in the Premier League this season, as he came off the bench late on in the stoppage-time defeat at Brighton.
