Man Utd predicted XI to face Arsenal - will Antony and Casemiro feature against the Gunners?

Will the Brazilian duo get the nod for Manchester United?

Manchester United host Arsenal on Sunday afternoon in a Premier League showdown that boasts more than its fair share of history.

The Red Devils and the Gunners have been embroiled in many a classic clash down the years, but face off again this weekend in a meeting that could go some way towards indicating where these two sides currently are in their development.

For United, a disastrous start to the season has been somewhat atoned for by three consecutive victories, while Arsenal have taken a maximum 15 points from their first five league outings of the campaign.

But who will come out on top this weekend, and how will Erik ten Hag set out his team at Old Trafford?

Check out our predicted starting XI for the match below...

David de Gea - GK

The Spaniard has kept two consecutive clean sheets in his last two matches, and remains Ten Hag’s firm first choice despite the arrival of Martin Dubravka from Newcastle United.

Diogo Dalot - RB

The right-back has been a regular under the new manager, and should start again against the Gunners.

Raphael Varane - CB

United have looked better at the back since Varane returned to the side. If it isn’t broke, don’t fix it.

Lisandro Martinez - CB

Game by game, the Argentina international continues to silence his critics with a number of high-quality, battling defensive displays.

At this moment in time, he is a nailed on starter.

Tyrell Malacia - LB

Luke Shaw remains a doubt, and the 23-year-old Dutchman has shown a decent amount of grit and fighting spirit since coming into the side.

Casemiro - CM

The Brazilian came on in midweek against Leicester City, but could be in line for a full debut against the Gunners on Sunday.

United fans will be eager to see what he can do following his big money move from Real Madrid.

Christian Eriksen - CM

The Dane should flourish for having a more defensively-astute presence next to him in the engine room.

Five games into his United career and he is still waiting on his first goal for the club. Could it come on Sunday?

Bruno Fernandes - CM

Fernandes is starting to look more like his old self of late, and will be eager to put in another influential performance on Sunday afternoon.

Antony - RW

Arguably the biggest call facing Ten Hag this weekend - will he start his new signing, or will he leave him on the bench?

The Brazilian certainly isn’t lacking in confidence, and you would imagine that if it were up to him, he would be getting the nod.

Jadon Sancho - LW

At long last, Sancho looks to be turning into the match-winning talent that United thought they were signing last summer.

Another goal in midweek will have done wonders for the England international’s confidence, and he should get the nod here again.

With Anthony Martial still injured and Cristiano Ronaldo very much relegated to the bench in recent weeks, Rashford feels like the most obvious option to lead the line against the Gunners.
