Manchester United are back in action on Tuesday night as they turn their attention to the Carabao Cup. Erik ten Hag’s men picked up a much-needed Premier League win on Saturday night, defeating Burnley away from home.
It wasn’t a glamorous performance, but the three points will be seen as crucial after a bumpy start to the campaign. Crystal Palace are next up, in the Carabao Cup, and it will be interesting to see who Ten Hag goes with, and indeed how seriously he takes the cup. Then again, injuries mean the Dutchman is not exactly spoiled for choice when it comes to rotations. Still, we are banking on some changes in our predicted starting XI. Take a look below.
1. GK - Altay Bayindir
Bayindir could well be set for his debut in the cup.
2. RB - Diogo Dalot
With Wan-Bissaka out, Dalot is set for a start on the right.
3. CB - Jonny Evans
A quick turnaround for Evans, but United don’t have much choice with injury issues at centre-back.
4. CB - Victor Lindelof
With Maguire and Varane battling injuries, Lindelof should start again.
