Manchester United have a new hero after dramatic Fulham win
Manchester United have picked up a last-gasp away win against Fulham courtesy of youngster Alejandro Garnacho’s goal. The game looked as though it was heading towards a 1-1 draw at Craven Cottage before the 18-year-old struck at the death.
Erik ten Hag’s side took the lead in the first-half through Christian Eriksen before the hosts grew into the game in the second-half. Former United winger Dan James came off the bench and ended haunting his old club when he tucked home a Tom Cairney cross.
Fulham looked the more likely team to score after that and the visitors had David de Gea to thank for some impressive saves. Garnacho was brought on for Anthony Martial on 72 minutes and caused problems on the wing before his goal.
United remain 5th in the Premier League table and are three points off the top four. Here’s how we rated the players after the win....

1. David de Gea - 8
Made some great saves to keep Fulham at bay. Couldn’t do anything about Dan James’ goal.

2. Tyrell Malacia - 7
Had a tricky evening up against Wilian but did well. Made some nice tackles.

3. Lisandro Martinez - 6
Dealt with the presence of Carlos Vinicius well. However, the pace of James caused him issues in the second-half.

4. Victor Lindelof - 7
Solid enough performance by the Sweden international as he keeps Harry Maguire out of the team.
