United are reportedly in discussions with Crystal Palace goalkeeper Jack Butland over a move to the North West. A new stopper is needed following Martin Dubravka’s return to Newcastle United recently and they may have found their man now. According to a report by The Telegraph, Butland is in ‘talks’ over a switch.

Ex-loan man eyed

Dubravka, who spent the first-half of this season on loan with the Red Devils to provide back-up to David de Gea, is now being linked with a transfer to fellow Premier League club Leicester City. He has lost his place as Newcastle’s number one to England international Nick Pope over recent times. The Daily Mail claim the Foxes have expressed an ‘interest’ in luring him to the King Power Stadium this winter.

Winger ‘open’ to move

Borussia Monchengladbach winger Marcus Thuram would apparently be ‘open’ to joining United, as per reporter Ronan Murphy on Twitter. The France international helped his country reach the World Cup final last month and he is out of contract at the end of this campaign. His side risk losing him in late June for free if they don’t cash in this month.
