Manchester United have spent big in the transfer window under Erik ten Hag but their ambitious approach hasn't quite been matched on the pitch.
Ten Hag has spent more than £400million across the three full windows he has been in charge at United, with last summer's window the most expensive. Rasmus Hojlund, Mason Mount and Andre Onana were among seven arrivals at a cost of more than £170m.
But United have often been criticised for their poor success rate in the market and despite such vast expenditure, find themselves eighth in the Premier League. The club have also come under scrutiny for their inability to raise finds through player sales, leading to a huge overall loss.
They are not the only club to have splashed the cash, however, and below are the net spend totals for each Premier League club since Ten Hag's arrival last summer.
