Manchester United are now ramping up their preparations for this weekend’s FA Cup final date with rivals Manchester City.

There is a feel-good factor around Old Trafford again after Erik ten Hag led the club to a top four finish, securing a return to the Champions League next season. The Red Devils have also won the Carabao Cup this season, and they now have the chance to make it a cup double against City in the FA Cup final this weekend, however tricky a task that will be.

In the meantime, we have rounded up all the latest news surrounding Old Trafford.

Martial ‘decision’

United are said to be ‘ready’ to offload Anthony Martial this summer.

The striker has had a patchy career at Old Trafford amid largely inconsistent form. The Frenchman’s fitness has also been a concern this season, and he will miss the FA Cup final with a fresh setback. According to Football Insider, the Red Devils are now ‘ready to accept’ an offer for the frontman over the summer.

The news will come as no surprise, with United always likely to look to move on from Martial as they look to take a step forward next season.

Newcastle United have been heavily linked, with Eddie Howe said to be a fan of the Scot, but transfer insider Fabrizio Romano has reported that no decision has been made just yet from the perspecitve of the Red Devils.

“Scott McTominay remains in the list at Newcastle — he’s appreciated by Eddie Howe, already wanted him in January,” Romano tweeted. “Manchester United have not made any decision yet, it will also depend on Erik ten Hag plans.”
