The 24-year-old has scored six times for her national team and has won the Liga MX Femenil numerous time with Tigres. Ovalle is seen as one of her country's most exciting talents having first rose to prominence in 2018 when she won the 2018 FIFA U-20 Women's World Cup goal of the tournament.

Ovalle is currently tied to a contract with Tigres until the summer of 2025, however Manchester United are reported to be willing to prepare a bid for the player and would also offer her a salary increase.

Elsewhere, MailSport claim that key forward Leah Galton is 'yet to be offered' a new deal by the club despite being one of Marc Skinner's key players.

The club's joint top scorer last season will see her contract come to an end in the summer and that has altered other clubs to the player, with Galton said to have several admirers.
