Man Utd make ‘contact’ to sign attacking midfielder as Premier League ace is linked

Ajax ace wanted

United are reportedly interested in signing Ajax attacking midfielder Mohammed Kudus this summer. According to a report by Football Insider, they have made ‘contact’ with the Eredivisie star about a potential switch to Old Trafford at the end of this campaign as the club keeps a tentative eye on the next transfer window.

The Ghana international, 22, was at the World Cup earlier this winter in Qatar with his country and has 21 caps under his belt so far in his career. He has scored 16 goals in 31 games at club level in all competitions so far this season and has caught the eye.

New player linked

United are being linked with a move for former Manchester City midfielder Romeo Lavia at Southampton. The Daily Mail claim they are ‘keeping tabs’ on his development with the Saints.

Table toppers Arsenal have also been credited with an interest in the 19-year-old in the report. Lavia has stood out for his struggling side this term and they are currently bottom of the division as they face a battle to stay up.
