Manchester United have nine games remaining this season with the aim to finish in a top four spot come 22 May.
The Red Devils have used 33 players so far this season in all competitions, however, some first-team stars have struggled for game-time and requested to earn minutes elsewhere.
United currently have 17 players out on loan until the end of the campaign, so we decided to take a look at how they’re faring away from Old Trafford.

5. Brandon Williams
A summer loan signing for newly-promoted Norwich City, Brandon Williams has been a regular for the Canaries, making 26 appearances in all competitions. Unfortunately for the full-back his season has been stuck in a relegation fight and it’s looking likely that it will appear on his CV come 22 May. Photo: Getty Images

6. Donny van de Beek
Like Martial, Donny van de Beek was desperate to earn game-time elsewhere and try to prove to the Old Trafford faithful that he can be a useful member of their squad next season. The Dutchman joined Everton on loan in January but their current form has left them just above the relegation zone, something the midfielder likely didn’t expect when making the switch to Merseyside. 7. James Garner
A key member of Nottingham Forest’s squad this season, James Garner has featured 36 times in all competitions, scoring three times and assisting his teammates on four occasions. The midfielder has been touted for his mature performances while away from Old Trafford, leading to a bright future for him. Photo: Getty Images

8. Axel Tuanzebe
The centre-back began the campaign on loan with Aston Villa before making the switch to Napoli in January where he has struggled for minutes since his arrival in Italy. Photo: Getty Images
