United are reportedly interested in Norwich City defender Max Aarons. The 22-year-old is under contract at Carrow Road until the summer of 2024 but they could face a battle to keep him amid Premier League transfer links. According to a report by Football Insider, Erik ten Hag is in the ‘market’ for a player in his position and he has emerged on his shortlist.

Former Celtic man linked

Bayer Leverkusen full-back Jeremie Frimpong is another potential transfer target. He made the move over to Germany in 2021 from Scottish Premiership champions Celtic. Reporter Fabrizio Romano has said, as per Caught Offside: “One right-back Manchester United are considering is Jeremie Frimpong. However, many clubs are scouting the young defender. Bayer Leverkusen want to keep Frimpong until at least the summer, so a January move could be difficult.”

Ronaldo latest

Cristiano Ronaldo could be handed an escape route from Old Trafford by his former club Sporting Lisbon. The Portugal international’s future with United remains up in the air and his contract expires at the end of this campaign. As per a report by The Mirror, Sporting are keen on lure him back home in January.
