Erik ten Hag has admitted ‘it’s difficult’ to know whether Anthony Martial and Jadon Sancho will be fit to face Brighton & Hove Albion this weekend in the FA Cup semi-final.

United were beaten 3-0 in the quarter-final second leg, a game that was fraught with defensive mix-ups and a lack of personality or passion from Ten Hag’s players.
Sancho was withdrawn at the break and didn’t appear to be carrying a problem before he made way, while Martial was evidently limping in the minutes prior to his substitution in the 54th minute. After the game, Ten Hag was asked for an injury update on the United attackers.
"It’s difficult, in this moment, we have to wait,” he told MUTV. “We have to see tomorrow and then we return to England and then we can make up the bill from today, what happened, and then, yeah, we can look forward to the game on Sunday [against Brighton & Hove Albion in the Emirates FA Cup semi-final] and then we will see which team we can pick."

The England international returned in the second half against Sevilla and didn’t look fully fit after missing the last two matches with a muscular problem.
It’s unclear whether Rashford is fully fit to start at Wembley on Sunday, meaning Ten Hag could be without arguably his three best attacking players. Antony, Wout Weghorst, Anthony Elanga and Facundo Pellistri are alternatives for the clash with the Seagulls, while Bruno Fernandes has also played in the frontline this season.
