Man Utd in ‘chase’ to land La Liga starlet as striker is linked with transfer

Full-back wanted

United are in the ‘chase’ to land Real Vallodolid right-back Ivan Fresneda, as per a report by Football Insider. The North West outfit are believed to be interested in luring the highly-rated 18-year-old to Old Trafford this summer after being linked with him in January. 

The teenager has caught the eye in La Liga in this campaign and has played 12 times after breaking into the first-team at the Estadio Jose Zorilla. His contract expires in 2027 but his current club will face a battle to keep hold of him amid interest from elsewhere. 

Striker linked

United are reportedly keen on Inter Milan striker Lautaro Martinez. TEAMtalk claim they are ‘ready’ to battle it out with league rivals Chelsea and Arsenal for his signature as they look to add some more firepower to their attacking options at the end of this season. 

Martinez, who is 25-years-old, helped Argentina win the World Cup in Qatar earlier this winter. He has scored 15 goals for his club so far this term, 12 of which have come in the league.
