With that in mind, we have rounded up all the latest transfer news and rumours surrounding Old Trafford.

Hojlund boost

United are said to be ‘growing in confidence’ over a possible deal to sign Atalanta frontman Rasmus Hojlund.

Hojlund has emerged as United’s new first choice frontman after being priced out of deals for Harry Kane and Victor Osimhen, and The Independent are reporting that the fee is close to being agreed, with the Red Devils and Atalanta locked in talks over potential add-ons.

It’s claimed an agreement could be reached at around £60million plus add-ons, with United needing to be careful with Financial Fair Play this summer.

Bailly latest to be cast aside

Ten Hag is also looking to trim his squad this summer, and it’s claimed he has cast another player to the fringes ahead of agreeing sales.

According to the Express, Eric Bailly is training separately ahead of ideally securing a move away from Old Trafford. It comes after Fabrizio Romano confirmed the defender was not travelling to the US. Bailly spent last season on loan with Marseille.

Romano said: “Eric Bailly, not part of Manchester Utd squad travelling for US tour as he’s out of the project and expected to leave. Alex Telles, out of the list too as he’s set to join Al Nassr once documents will be signed.“
