Manchester United are now preparing for a crucial clash with Chelsea as they look to rubber-stamp their top four clash.

The Red Devils picked up a big win over Bournemouth over the weekend, and Liverpool’s draw means they are now within a point of securing Champions League qualification. United will have two chances to secure that point, and the first of those comes this Thursday night when Erik ten Hag’s men take on a struggling Chelsea side.

In the meantime, we have rounded up all the latest news surrounding Old Trafford.

Guehi competition

Interest is ramping up in reported United target Marc Guehi ahead of this summer.

According to reports in France, the Red Devils are interested in a move for the centre-back as they look to add depth at the position. Harry Maguire has been linked with an exit this summer, and that could increase United’s need for a central defender. Crystal Palace’s Guehi has been tipped as a possible option, but interest is ramping up, according to the Evening Standard.

They claim both Arsenal and Tottenham are interested in Guehi ahead of this summer, with the former Chelsea star likely to attract a big fee of around £50million.

Lindelof interest

Speaking of centre-backs, amid links of a possible exit for Maguire, there is also talk of Victor Lindelof moving on amid a struggle for game time.

According to InterLive, Lindelof is ‘quite unhappy’ at Old Trafford due to his limited play time, and that is not likely to improve given the presence of Raphael Varane and Lisandro Martinez. It’s claimed Champions League finalists Inter Milan could make a move for the Sweden international this summer.

Inter are said to have attempted to sign Lindelof in the past, and they could come back with a fresh attempt this summer.
