United are being linked with a summer swoop for AS Monaco defender Axel Disasi as they hunt for reinforcements to their defensive department ahead of the next campaign, as per a report by French news outlet L’Equipe. The 25-year-old, who is a France international with three caps under his belt so far in his career, has been a key player for his current club since joining them back in 2020 but they could face a battle to keep hold of him now.

Disasi started out at Paris FC and rose up through their youth ranks before breaking into their first-team. He was then snapped up by Stade de Reims in 2016 and spent four years with the Ligue 1 outfit before he switched to Stade Louis-II.

Midfielder update

United midfielder Donny van de Beek will ‘explore’ other transfer options with his time at Old Trafford seemingly over, as detailed in a report by The Guardian. The Dutchman moved to England in 2020 after impressing in the Eredivisie with Ajax but he has struggled to make an impact since then.

He has played 60 times for the Red Devils and has chipped in with two goals, as well as having a loan spell away at Everton during the 2021/22 campaign to get some game time. He has struggled with injury recently and his future is now up in the air.
