Manchester United have just two full days to conclude any transfer business as Erik ten Hag looks to bolster his squad for the second-half of the season. The Reds have been quiet on and off the pitch this month but remain on their toes for any potential opportunities.

United's first game of February sees them head to Molineux for a Premier League clash at Wolves. Ten Hag and his players will be focused purely on the game but while we wait, ManchesterWorld has rounded up some of the latest transfer headlines.

United's £70m sacrifice

United are reportedly weighing up a move for Gleison Bremer and could be willing to sell Casemiro in order to raise funds. Football Insider reports that an enquiry has been made with Juventus quoting close to £60million for their defender.

United signed Casemiro for £70m in the summer of 2022 and tied the midfielder down to a four-year contract, but there are growing concerns regarding his longevity. Reports have suggested that a summer exit is on the cards, with interest from Saudi Arabia.

Bremer has been ever-present in central defence at Juventus, starting all 22 of their Serie A games as part of the league's second best defence, conceding just 13 times. The 26-year-old is thought to be an ideal candidate for United, given his pedigree at the elite level.

Antony stance

United could be 'interested' in a new right-winger if they can find an appropriate buyer for Antony. Sports Lens reports that the issue of attacking reinforcements will be part of a major overhaul in the summer.

Antony has continued to frustrate at United since his £86m move from Ajax in the summer of 2022. The Brazilian scored his first goal of the season in Sunday's FA Cup win at Newport County, having gone 22 games without finding the net.

United sent Jadon Sancho out on loan earlier this month and Facundo Pellistri is expected to follow, leaving Ten Hag weak on the right side. But the report adds that after a quiet January, cash will be splashed ahead of next season in a busy summer.
