Transfer deadline day: 11 Man Utd deals that could still happen including new left-back - gallery

Manchester United are hoping to complete three arrivals before the 11pm deadline.

Manchester United are expecting a busy transfer deadline day on Friday, with plenty of arrivals and departures anticipated at Old Trafford.

The Red Devils are planning to announce the arrival of a new back-up goalkeeper following the departure of Dean Henderson, while there’s also hope of securing a new left-back. Luke Shaw’s injury has left United severely lacking in that area, and the club have identified several players who could arrive on a short-term loan deal.

Midfield has been another area of concern, and Erik ten Hag has been targeting reinforcements in that position for several weeks. The issue, however, is surrounding funds, and United are struggling to find the finances to make a deal happen.

In order to sign a new midfielder, the club may need to sell first. Thankfully, there are a number of players that Ten Hag is willing to shift, even if Harry Maguire and Anthony Martial look set to stay into the autumn months. There’s also the prospect, this late in the window, of agreeing some loan moves for both senior and junior players

But who could be leaving, and which players might arrive at Old Trafford before 11pm? Below, we’ve rounded up 11 transfers that could still be completed.
