Manchester United are expected to be one of the busiest sides in the Premier League this summer as they lay the foundations for a potentially transformative transfer window under Ruben Amorim.
So far, the club are yet to back the Portuguese coach with a serious sum of money in the transfer window, with the £29m signing of Patrick Dorgu being one of the few permanent first team additions along with Arsenal youngster Ayden Heaven and the development signing of 17-year-old Diego Leon which will be completed in July 2025.

Manchester World understands that Matheus Cunha is reportedly keen to join the club after a stellar campaign for Wolves this season, while further reports suggest his arrival could help entice another standout performer from the Premier League.
Man Utd target Bryan Mbeumo
Ruben Amorim has reportedly set his sights on a blockbuster move for Brentford forward Bryan Mbeumo in the summer transfer window.
The Cameroon international has scored a staggering 18 goals from 33 Premier League matches this season while also contributing an impressive six assists. He’s among the highest scorers in the league from out wide and has perfectly filled the void of Ivan Toney during both his suspension last term and his subsequent transfer to Saudi Arabia in the summer of 2024.

Hide AdMbeumo has been part of the Bees front-line since 2019/20 when the club reached the Championship play-off final and was a prominent figure in the team’s promotion the following season. He has an overall record of 40 goals and 28 assists in 131 appearances at Premier League level and is going from strength to strength each season in the Premier League under Thomas Frank.
"I'm very happy that he's shining," Frank said, via Reuters. "It's a duo, of course, him and Wissa. Wissa is fantastic. He has scored actually more open-play goals than Bryan still. But Bryan is the penalty taker, unbelievable at penalties, assists, work ethic, an unbelievable player."
Fichajes claim United are in ‘desperate need’ of signings in attack and claims Mbeumo has been referred to by club chiefs as the ‘perfect option’ this summer as the board aim to make a £55m statement of intent.
What would Bryan Mbeumo bring to Man Utd?
Pace, power and goals are all things that Bryan Mbeumo has had in abundance this season for European dark horses Brentford and it seems almost inevitable that the Premier League’s elite will begin to take a look at him in the near future. United’s lack of goals has been discussed extensively throughout the season and Mbeumo at this moment in time, has nearly half of what the whole United team have managed combined this season, while playing with a team with a vastly inferior budget.

Hide AdMbeumo is also renowned for his excellent work rate and his ability to link up with other players. His partnership with Yoanne Wissa has been particularly noticeable this season, with the pair both scoring seven times this year in a feat only two less than what Antony Martial and Marcus Rashford managed in the 2019/20 season.
Overall, they have both scored in 18 top-flight matches, which is one short of United’s existing record in the Premier League era which was held by Ruud van Nistelrooy and Paul Scholes during the early 2000s.
